Terms of Service

Last updated · June 2026

In plain words

OpifexHQ is subscription software for businesses. You pay a yearly per-seat subscription, your data remains yours, and your heavy CAD files never leave your network. Below are the full terms.

1. Who we are

The OpifexHQ service ("Service") is provided by the business that develops and operates OpifexHQ (full company details — name, registered seat, VAT — will be posted here before online sales open). Contact: support@opifexhq.com.

2. Who it is for

The Service is offered exclusively to businesses and professionals (B2B). By accepting these terms you confirm you are acting in the course of business and have authority to bind your company.

3. What the Service includes

(a) The cloud platform (web application and API) at opifexhq.com.

(b) The OpifexHQ desktop application for Windows, which works alongside SolidWorks and is additionally governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA).

(c) Assistance with initial installation and setup.

4. Accounts & seats

Subscription is per user seat (e.g. designer seat, web/production seat). Each seat is for one named user; credential sharing between multiple people is not allowed.

You are responsible for safeguarding your users’ credentials and for all activity under your accounts.

5. Prices & payment

Prices are listed on the Pricing page, plus VAT where applicable. Subscriptions are prepaid annually.

Payment is made either online by card (through a licensed payment provider — card details are never stored on our systems) or by invoice and bank transfer.

Access is activated upon confirmation of payment. In case of overdue amounts we may suspend access after notice.

6. Renewal & refunds

The subscription renews at the end of each period. You will be notified in good time before each renewal; no charge is made without prior notice.

Refund requests are reviewed case by case — email us and we will look at it together. As the Service is offered exclusively to businesses, consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.

7. Your data

The data you enter into the Service (assemblies, BOMs, orders, production data) belongs to you.

The cloud stores accounts, production-organisation data (BOMs, flows, orders, stock, history) and small preview images. CAD files (SolidWorks, DXF, STEP, Pack and Go) are stored on your own file server and are not uploaded to the cloud.

When the subscription ends you may request an export of your data within 30 days; after that it is permanently deleted.

8. Acceptable use

Not allowed: reselling or sub-licensing the Service; circumventing seat or security mechanisms; decompiling or modifying the software (beyond what the law expressly permits); using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Availability & support

We make every reasonable effort to keep the Service running, with scheduled maintenance where needed. No guaranteed availability level (SLA) is provided unless agreed in writing. Support is provided by email on business days and hours.

10. Intellectual property

The OpifexHQ software, design and marks belong to us. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for the duration of the subscription. SolidWorks is a trademark of Dassault Systèmes — OpifexHQ is an independent product, is not affiliated with Dassault Systèmes, and requires your own valid SolidWorks license for CAD features.

11. Liability

The software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g. lost profits, production downtime).

Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in the last 12 months. The limitation does not apply where the law does not permit it (e.g. willful misconduct).

Important: OpifexHQ is a production-organisation tool — final verification of drawings, dimensions and part fitness remains your responsibility.

12. Term & termination

The agreement lasts as long as the subscription. We may terminate for a material breach that is not remedied within a reasonable period after notice. Section 7 applies to your data.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes you will be notified (by email or in-app) at least 30 days in advance; changes take effect from your next renewal. If you disagree, you may choose not to renew.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of our registered seat have jurisdiction. Before any legal action we will try to resolve the dispute amicably.
